  1. The feed went well but was a bummer in the end. You could tell he was loving the crowd. I would just like to see Uconn get a real high profile guard. We seem to have no problem of doing that with big men. Every time I think of a Uconn game, i'll picture Ben Gordon hitting a three over a defender, Kemba penetrating or Dyson going up for dunk.

Bigs like Drummond are exciting to watch, but the rest are just anchors on defense and give you some dunks. To me, guards are the best way to gain advantages over other teams. They have to be able to shoot, handle the ball, pass and play smart. Bigs have less on them in that sense. I just want to see the next great Uconn guard. If we dont get him in 2012 that's fine, but I better see it from the 2013 class.

Overall, im excited for the season. I can't wait to see DeAndre, Boatright and Drummond do their thing. They are the kind of players that make missing out on Purvis not hurt as much. I also can't wait for Shabazz to outshine expectations.
  2. Niice! Yea I was there from 1997-1999. Then transfered to Uconn which was home in CT from there til 2002. Then did some grad school stuff until 2004. Then left CT after 20 years in late 2006 November to move to Houston where I have been living.
  3. Oz i went to miami too. should've gone to uconn though.
  4. Sup Tony, Yea I mean rivals is OK... nothing great. Our uconn site outside of maybe a couple of posters remains dead considering the program UCONN is only a total of 100 dudes on there. Heck there is more football talk than bball on uconnreport but I payed for the year so I am stuck til next April. Yes I have some connects to UCONN still but problem is I live in Houston Tx now and outside the final four and championship and the game at utex in austin I am rarely around the team anymore!!
  5. Ozzie, thanks fo helping me out here. The faster this site grows, the more free uconn info will get posted here. Your posts on other sites and here have been really good. You have the inside connects and I like that too.

I just recently paid for rivals to see if its worth it and so far im iffy. The info is really good when its posted, but its been about two weeks and no insider info. Im not sure if i'll keep it but whats your take on the site?
